STAN FURST
Principal / Co-Founder, JB Commercial Funding LLC
Stan is a founding principal of JB Commercial Funding LLC. He has over 40 years of in-depth experience in the residential and commercial mortgage banking and equipment leasing businesses. Stan served as Chairman, President, and CEO of New Jersey Mortgage and Investment Corporation (NJMIC). NJMIC, when sold, was the oldest independent mortgage banker in the US and the first bank in New Jersey to be awarded full “Eagle” approval by HUD.
While at NJMIC Stan started and then built Federal Leasing Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of NJMIC, into the largest small ticket diagnostic medical lessor in the country. He also started Capital Finance Corp., a national unsecured lending company. While at NJMIC, Stan also served as the Vice Chairmen of American Business Financial Services, a NASDAQ traded company. In addition, Stan was one of the founding partners of Industry Mortgage Corp (IMC).
After the successful sale of NJMIC, Federal Leasing Corp., and NJMIC’s commercial lending division, Stan served as CEO of Altivus Financial LLC, a start-up mortgage banking company, Partner in Benalon Capital, LLC, a company that bought and sold distressed real estate loans, Senior Vice President, Loan Production, of Cherrywood Commercial Lending, LLC, a small-balance commercial real estate lending company, and, most recently, Managing Partner of Furst Financial LLC, a small balance commercial real estate broker.
Stan is a graduate of the University of Miami and attended Ohio State University School of Law. He has also served on the Boards of AT&T Capital Advisory, National Consumer Finance Association, National Second Mortgage Association, and National Home Equity Association.
Bob Beller
Senior Managing Director, JB Commercial Funding LLC
Bob serves as Senior Managing Director of JB Commercial Funding LLC. Previously, Bob served as a New York litigation attorney, an Assistant United States Attorney, in the District of New Jersey, and then as Senior General Counsel and General Counsel, respectively, of two international securities and commodities broker/dealers – Thomson McKinnon Securities and LIT America.
Thereafter Bob pursued an entrepreneurial path as founder and president of Vision Investment Enterprises Worldwide, an international asset management company, where he developed, operated, and sold complex traditional and alternative asset management investment products to institutional, high net worth, and retail investors, both domestically and offshore. Bob also served as a Business Development Consultant to Arthur, Andersen, setting the groundwork for its offshore administrative fund services division, and led sales support efforts for Alpha Investments, one of the industries first, and at the time, largest, fund-of hedge-fund's companies. He was also principal of Altivus Financial Services, a start-up mortgage banking company, and a Financial Consultant to high net worth investors at AXA-Equitable. Most recently, Bob served as Risk Management and Institutional Compliance Officer for Athletics at Rutgers University.
Bob is a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Virginia School of Law. He was also Captain of the Harvard Varsity basketball team and a former President of the Harvard Club of New Jersey.

Hakim Wilkerson
Managing Director, JB Commercial Funding LLC
Hakim has over 20 years of extensive residential and commercial mortgage banking experience with a specialty in Loan workouts and Restructuring. Hakim has a depth of real estate knowledge as an active investor who has renovated single and multi-family homes. Previously Hakim served as President of Wilkerson Property Group which invests in distressed REO properties in NJ, PA, CT, and NY. Prior to WPG Hakim worked for various financial institutions such as Franklin Credit Management Corp, Emigrant Savings Bank, MLD Mortgage, C12 Capital Management, and Doral Bank managing distressed residential and commercial loan portfolios.

John Rosa
Managing Director, JB Commercial Funding LLC
John has over 25 years of commercial real estate debt management experience within investment banking and asset management firms. John’s experience includes analyzing, valuing, and trading more than 5 Billion of securitized and whole loan commercial real estate loan pools in the primary and secondary markets. He has analyzed and invested in Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities for his own account and for the proprietary accounts of several international financial institutions, including ING Capital, Barclays, and Gleacher.
John has secured commercial real estate debt and equity financing for an array of property types including multifamily, office and industrial, retail, seniors housing and hospitality. He has collaborated with national, regional and local funding sources including, agency lenders (Fannie
Mae, Freddie Mac), commercial banks, CMBS lenders, life insurance companies, private and public funds and hard money lenders. He is an investor in commercial real estate and previously served as an Associate Director at Marcus & Millichap where he structured commercial real estate loans for investors, owners, developers, and fund managers with the most competitive rates and terms.
His background reflects the sophistication of his knowledge and experience in finance, sales, underwriting, and advising clients on the most optimum way for innovative financing solutions. John is a graduate of Indiana University where he received a BS in Public Finance.
Ken Baris
Co-Founder / Principal, JB Commercial Funding LLC
In addition to being a Founder / Principal of JB Commercial Funding LLC, Ken is President of Jordan Baris, Inc. Realtors Real Living in New Jersey, and is one of the real estate industry’s most prolific and dynamic leaders.
Ken is a proud recipient of the RIS Media / Real Estate Magazine’s 2019 “Newsmaker of the Year” Award, the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World “President's Award for Service,” and the Leading RE Award for “Transaction of the Year for Outstanding Client Experience.” He is a past President of the NY Metro Group of Leading RE, served on the CRB Board of Directors, and was a founding member of the Zillow Advisory Board, and the Executive Committee of eLumindata Inc., a data science company.
Ken is frequently in the media, a popular speaker at industry events and meetings, and is often featured nationally in publications and at industry conventions.
An innovator, Ken created Top Presenter, the first multimedia presentation tool in the real estate brokerage industry which won the National Association of Realtors “Software of the Year.”
While many brokers face the challenges of ever-changing markets in different ways, Ken has clearly taken the challenge head-on and the results have been recognized across the board by industry organizations, vendors to the brokerage community, the media, and professionals who have joined the Baris organization.
Ken is most proud of the outstanding Jordan Baris team that is driven every day to meet the company’s goals. Ken works respectfully to honor his father, Jordan Baris, who founded their company in 1952 and is iconic in the industry. With offices in South Orange, West Orange, and Livingston the company is aggressively expanding and is on track to developing a significant regional presence.
